Is a galvanized pole the best thing to use for a clothesline?

If so, any idea where to get one near Burlington ON?

If not, any suggestions?

They do have them @ major stores. Galvanized is best.

However in my location where I live it is against bylaws to actually have one. So may want to check that out.

Hi there, I am assuming you figured out a solution for your clothesline by now. In case you havent or for future references, I would like to bring our products to your attention.

What KRINNER offers is screw-in foundations, basically oversized metal screws that are used to anchor your structure. We have designed a small screw specifically for smaller applications like your clothesline, which you are able to install yourself. Being removable this would be the right solution to bypass the mentioned bylaw.
