I need to fix a section of floor - house built in 64 and I have 1 1/2 wide hardwood floors(white oak). I just need to find a couple feet of flooring.

Does anyone know who might have a stash of old hardood from a remodel?

Hi Robert, You could try your local Habitat for humanity Restore - you never know what they might have.

Their web site appears to be down but following is the contact info.

I am sure you have a good lumberyard that carries hardwoods (not a box store) in your area. If so, they might be able to steer you to a millwork shop that can make you what you need.

Good Luck with it!

You might try Mr Used on Barton in Hamilton, he carries salvage building materials.
