Walnut Wood

I have a black walnut tree that is being removed in 2 weeks. There is a lot of good wood in the main lines and it would be a shame to see it go to waste. I am hoping to find someone that is interested in using the wood and putting it to good use. When removed to good wood will be left in manageable lengths. I live in Brooklin.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Originally I was planning on just giving it away but there appears to be quite a bit of interest. At this point I am accepting offers.

Mike,

I have a friend that does a lot of fine wood working. He makes butcher blocks and other things. He'd put your logs to good use. Usually he just offers to take the logs away for free, as they would need to be milled and then dried before being useful. If you're interested feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.
