I want to tear up grass in back yard, in a small townhouse, and put down patio slabs. How much would something like this cost?

Hi Laurie.

Your query is difficult to answer without knowing more information: size of area to be torn up, cost of disposal (we can't just toss the used sod in the bush anymore!), specific style of patio slabs, etc. Most people would not venture a guess but would definitely be willing to visit you and discuss options and costs.

The best thing to do would be to either post your ad on this site or search through the landscapers/contractors and contact a few directly.

Good luck and be sure to keep us posted as things unfold!

I charge $ 15 per sqf labor and materials.

I hope it helps.
