Hi,

I'm in the Retrofit program (home energy use reduction improvements) and need the following done (completed) well before March 31st, 2012

:)

1. Toilet replacement - depending on price 2 or 3 (To replace standard toilets with high efficiency toilets (dual flush) (There are certain requirements that need to be followed)

Toilet Performance Testing | MaP Toilet Testing

http://www.map-testing.com/index.html

2. The electric plug panels and light switch panels need to be ?caulked ? sealed?

"Keeping the Heat In | Office of Energy Efficiency

Chapter 3: Comprehensive Air-Leakage Control | Part II: Caulking and Other Air-Sealing Materials"

http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/publications/residential/5967#part2

3. Two bathroom ceiling to roof ventilation systems

Neither bathroom has any venting

Bathroom dimensions:

50 sq. feet

and

39 sq feet

4. Attic Insulation (currently R10 or R12)

Needs to be upgraded to minimum R50

Blown cellulose.

750 sq. feet.

I live in Toronto and would greatly appreciate (a) some quote(s).

It is a flat roof and the house is 40 years old.

I cannot physically go to any stores (multiple broken bones) so I would need everything brought here (Obviously I would pay)

I'll also be asking for references etc.

As for the attic insulation: The tubing for the bathroom-to roof vent units has to be in place PRIOR to attic insulation.

The roofer won't allow anyone else to work on the roof (i.e. install the holes in the roof) for the vents without voiding the warranty

Thanks in advance!
