What type of cost I'm I looking at for this. The panels would most likely go on the roof of the house. The pool is aprox. 32 X15' and a deepest area is 6'.

Solar pool heaters are completely scalable. For a pool your size the average cost is around $2000. The people I know that have these love them!
Payback depends on what type of energy you are comparing with but is often in the 2-3 year mark.
