Accent Wall Color

Hi,

I am looking for a brownish orange/burnt orange paint color for the accent wall in our livingroom to go with the picture on the adjacent wall. All the other walls are log.

I do not want anything too dark or really bright. I do not have access to Benjamin Moore paint, so I am looking at Sherwin Williams. I love the color Copper Mountain which looks really good in a room with lots of light, but since our livingroom is quite dark, it would be too dark. (The clock on the wall isn't right and will be gone).

I have looked at lots of SW colors, but cannot find the right color.

Any suggestions of one or two exact colors to look at would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Kathy. It's difficult to suggest colors over the internet, however if you're going to use Sherwin-Williams you may want to try their Color snap app that allows you to pick colors that will meet your needs. I hope this help.

Best regards,

Bobk

Good morning there I would suggest if you have a picture u like with the colour you want some Dulux stores or sherwillams paint stores can match it with a machine I know when I do some stuff for customers and they want custom stain I go there and they match it almost 100% on stain so they should be able with paint also I would ask or check it out. Hello,

we have a designer that we work with to assist in situations just like yours.

If you wanted, I could connect you two?

there would be a fee for her services and that would be discussed prior to any activity.

thank you for your message,

Hi Kathy. You could try going up the paint strip 2 or 3 tones, in this case, SW6354 Armagnac. It will give you the colour you desire, but it would be lighter on the wall. My best advise is to buy a couple of small test pots and try them on the wall. Look at them throughout the day, because they will look different in the morning vs the evening. However, most paint company's are able to colour match. So whether its a Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams, its not problem to match.

Good luck.
