We want to get an estimate for what it would cost to add a toilet and standup shower in a basement.
The basement has a decent size laundry room which has the hot water tank, washer and dryer.
Would it be possible to add a another bathroom here with separate door and how much are we looking at? Wall in the picture can probably be knocked down, and all the AC connections are on the ceiling.
Edit: For clarification, we would be adding a bathroom within the laundry room. It would be really tight, with a small toilet and standup shower.

It's impossible to say without an on-site assessment. Get a minimum of 3 quotes, not estimates . The lowest quote may not necessarily be the best quote. Ask for trade certification of the installers (Red Seal Certification). Make sure it's the certification of the installers and not the owner or someone sitting behind a desk in their office. And once you've accepted a quote, get it in writing, in form of a contract.
Visually it looks possible but the measuring tape would tell the truth. I would start by contacting a local contractor to get an estimate. Most likely he will need permits. A drain for the toilet would need to be installed so that means breaking up the concrete and if any additional electrical needs to be done, then that will need to be addressed as well. Get a few quotes and ask around for references. Word of mouth is still the way to go or even look up potential contractors right here. I am nowhere near your area but there are many you can look at that are.
I must see the project and give the estimation of it. From your description it cannot be estimate.
thank you
Slave
Hi Niv. I recommend you calling a trusted Pro contractor in your local area to get a firm quote for your basement bathroom project. I would be guessing to give you a cost without seeing it firsthand and knowing exactly how much concrete needs to be broken up to tie your toilet in sink drain into. Also need to know what your finishes will be tiles bathroom fixtures and accessories excetera
