What should it cost in Toronto to have a concrete patio poured (area is 20 feet by 11.3), and can it be done this time of year, temps in Toronto are still pretty good right now? Or is there a more cost effective way to extend the existing stone patio?

I want this whole area to be patio and I think matching it to the existing stones will be more expensive, so is poured concrete the cheapest way to go or are there alternatives?

Also, if I hire someone to do the poured concrete patio what types of questions should I be asking about what they'll be doing and how they'll be doing it, etc to ensure the work is being done properly and I don't have problems with it later on down the road.

Hi Max,

There are more than one way to complete the project that you have. There is a bit of price difference in what finished product you would like, (concrete with polished finish, stamped concrete, Jewel stone finish or just plain broom finish) depending on the budget.

Concrete finish can run from 10 to 15 per sq ft or even higher.Interlocking stone like the one you apear to have in the photos would run from 10 to 15 again depending on the prep work that needs to be done.In any case you should consider a budget of 3 to 5,000.
