Any recourse for builder who ruined hardwood floor?

I hired a bad builder who ruined the hardwood and did not complete work. We sued, cost 25,000 plus. We had to stop as we ran out of money. Any other recourse?? Even the home warranty coverage takes the side of the builder. What a joke!
