Property law would state that there must be a through-way provided but in most cases, they're going to leave it up to the individuals to sort that part out.

Nobody is going to charge you with trespassing if the route you're taking is the only way to and from your property.

Hi Jason, all depends what's on title from my personal experience. I previously owned a property with a similar case but I had a right of passage on title to get to my property. If you don't have anything on title saying you can cross their property to get to yours you may have an issue, all depends what is on title. I'd have a lawyer look into it maybe they can find something in the original sale agreement your aren't seeing possibly.

Cheers!

So I am looking into that but here's the kicker there is a gas well on the 5 acres we own that needs to be maintained and he is denying us access to the land, the land is on the other side of a creek that runs through my property so my one question would be is if anyone knows anything about building bridges across creeks in Ontario for atv use
