My husband is installing new porcelain tiles in our laundry room. Once the installation is complete, can we go ahead and put our washer and dryer right back in, or should we wait some length of time for it to settle/cure...?
Many thanks!
You should wait a minimum of 24 to 48 hours for it to cure properly. To be safe I would personally wait 48 hours.
Good afternoon,
You should wait 48 hours for floor to cure.
Depending on the humidity levels in your home, it may need 72 hours of cure time.
Hope this helps.
All the best,
Rob
I would say 24 to 48 hours but also consult the label of the materials you are using as they may have more detailed information.
The responses you have received are pretty good.
I would wait 48 hours before moving the appliances back on. That is what I always do.
Thank you all very much!
