Approx cost of addition

We are looking at adding a 2 story space 35 x 22 and a double car garage which the loft continues into the second floor of the addition. Second floor would be a master bedroom with en suite and first floor would contain the kitchen. Just looking for a ball bark figure i.e.: cost per square foot? Property is near Barrie, Ontario.

With a kitchen your cost could be 180 to 200 a square foot depending on finishes.

Garage is around 95-115 per sqft and living space is is 130 - 200 per sqft.

You need to check with your municipal development office and get "a development permit". You cannot build anything without permission!!
