I'm looking to have a 20x20 patio installed with a small aesthetic retaining wall surrounding it with pillars at the entrances. This will be a patio in the middle of my back yard so there is no need for stairs. i'm looking for an approximate price on sqft and also the job as a whole. I've been looking at techo-bloc for the material (not too picky on what stone) that will be used for the entire project. please let me know what you'd charge for this kind of project and how much per sqft.

Hi my name is Marvin Gomes from A+ Concrete and Reno.

I received this e-mail about your backyard patio. I can try and give an idea of the cost but for the breakdown of square footage, there are a couple of things I would want to know. 1. Is there any trees near this location of the patio because there would be a little excavation.

2. Will it be interlock or pavers because prices vary.

3. Is the retaining wall brick or concrete.

So to give you an idea of the cost of the entire job with the stone costing $3 a sqft and depending what you choose for retaining wall it could cost anywhere between $3000-$4500.

sorry, i forgot to write what material i'd pick as today i was going through the magazine and found what i'd like. i'd like techo-bloc as listed for each project.

Pavers - Eva

retaining walls - Manchester

Pillars - i guess would be the same as the retaining wall? correct me if i'm wrong.

caps - you can pick one and give me a price point.

i'd like a sqft price of the retaining wall also if possible, i'm guessing it would be close to 80 feet? also how are the pillars priced? i'd like to know so i can decide if it'll be in my budget or not. i'd like 4 on each entrance.

if you can gladly give me a sqft price for each of these i'd be greatful, also from other contractors i've talked to they've been more around $10-15 sqft for the patio, how come you're so low with $3 a sqft?

Hi, to install the pavers in the backyard, cost would be approximately $8000 or $20 per square foot not including the pavers. To install a 2.5 high accent seat wall around the patio with pillars, approximate cost would be $12,000 or $50 per square foot not including the wall stone. I would budget $20-25,000 for the project not including the stones as a ball park figure until all design details have been finalized with a complete site walk through.
