I was told this hole was where the crane lifted the material during construction. It is covered by the vinyl siding. Just wondering if it should be repaired or if there is nothing to worry about. Thanks
Ditto what Dave from 360 Reno's just posted.
It's a very easy fast repair

It is a pretty simple fix as mentioned in the other posts.
It is common for framers to poke holes like that for there slings to hoist material, walls and roofs that are assembled on the ground with a crane or boom.
As long as the paper on the outside is not cut or ripped in any way, you can fix it buy just scraping the plywood that is damaged from the inside. Then I would cut a piece of 2x10, or 2 if needed, and simply screw it to the Framing from the inside. No need to remove siding.
