Average cost to replace 4 windows in the back of my house

We are looking to replace 4 wood frame windows in the back of my townhouse with vinyl windows instead, as the wood frame windows are at least 20 years old. We live in Maple, On. The vinyl windows will be all white, not painted. We are looking to get energy efficient, insulated windows. What would be the average cost to get these windows replaced?

On average a window is between $300-$500 depending on size, opening style and installation can range based on exterior of home but safe to say in Alberta you would be about $1000 per window for install as a general average.
