I'm going to finish my garage and have been looking at insulation options. What do guys recommend? Spray Foam, Roxul, pink. Do you put anything against concrete wall?

All insulation with the exception of spray foam must not touch concrete to allow air travel . Stay foam 4 times the price but no need of poly install so a lot quicker and cleaner to install .

# 1 You do Not need to leave Air Space

#2 Roxul is your best bet and bang for your $

#3 poly should Never be used in a garage

#4 Tyvek is a must in a garage it's a moisture/ Air barrier providing a seal that's breathable.

There's a few additional steps that can be done to provide a warm or cool garage without potential for mould and moisture problems.

Batt insulation is the cheapest way to go. Spray foam has always been the best, but the most expensive.

You have some good advice in the other posts. I like Roxul for several reasons (read their content description). As to finishing, consider your long term goal for heat and general use. Just to it correctly and you won't have to make adjustments later.

You're on the right track.
