I finish in my basement Electrical, HVAC, and insulation. Should I call for insulation inspection before I put drywall on it?
Thanks
If you have been doing everything by code and had inspections for your other trades then yes. They have to approve your insulation before you can cover with drywall.
Yes , you can not cover the walls before inspection .
Inspector can have you remove all the drywall
If he wants to see the electrical, and plumbing,
He will them put a sticker up , that allows you to cover the walls
It's always a good idea to arrange for an inspection. Not only for the insulation but also for the electrical. I would advise yes!
Thanks guys for update
Yes, you should call inspection insulation. How about plumbing?
