Basement Toilet

Hi pros,

I have to change the toilet in the basement. I heard that it should be the 6 L, so the water can flow easily, as it is not coming from the top floor. Is it true? It's a 30-year-old house, will there be a PVC/ABS flange or the cast iron?

Thanks

Hi Syed,

All I can say regarding the toilet is you get what you pay for. The more expensive, the better it is & the longer it will last! At least from my many years experience!!!

Flange should be ABS but nobody will know for sure until the the time comes to swap it.
