My bathroom counter which includes the sink is extended over the toilet which makes access to the toilet tank difficult. Can I have the counter top cut off over the toilet or does the whole counter have to be replaced? This is a home built in 2000. I believe the counter top is ceramic.
Hi Brian,
It is possible to do an onsite modification if there is no backsplash. If you have a picture I can tell you a bit better. There are patches that will have to be done to the wall because chances are, there is a brace under the part that is above the toilet tank. Cheers!

Yes it is possible to cut that off keep in mind you will need to put I finished Arborite end on the cut off part and repair the drywall once it has been removed above the toilet. Jeff
Is the counter top ceramic as in Tiles or more like quartz? That makes a huge difference too. My answer was based more on quartz. :) Regardless there is a solution... or you can always get a toilet with a smaller tank! :)
