What colors to use on a small bathroom if I want to have a modern look? What type of cabinets should I buy? Can I use a shower/bathtub glass instead of the shower curtains?

Hi,
Yes glass instead of shower curtain. If you are tiling now, i would install white in the walls of the shower. And a medium grey on the floor.
Very light grey paint on the walls.
Go with white cabinetry. With a light grey counter top.

Agree with James, good suggestions. Try Benjamin Moore OC26 - Silver Satin, very light soft colour. Also look at OC52 - Grey Owl
