Looking at doing some renos in the New Year and trying to get an idea of cost.

Bathroom reno:

Bathroom size - 69 sq ft

Re-tiling floor - 22 sq ft

Removing wall tile and installing new walls (no painting required)

Removing and installing new toilet, sink with vanity, mirror & bathtub

Installing shaker style door on outside of bathroom (sliding) this will also require the light switch be moved to the inside of the bathroom rather than the outside as the sliding door will cover the current switch

Wall tile installed in shower area only - 81" x 37" x 59"

There is currently a "shelf" near the shower head that we'd like to close up and create a wall, so that the showerhead comes out directly from the wall rather than a hand held shower head as shown in the photograph.

Also we would be considering creating a linen closet on the other side of the previous shower stall "shelf" area once it's closed up in the bathroom. I've provided photos. An idea of cost for that to see if it's worth doing.

A Bathroom reno is hard to price without knowing the type of material your wanting to use. The bathroom isn't that big and in my opinion if you hire a tradesmen that can do everything (handyman) with tickets you'll save a bit of money..

I'm picturing the job in my head and the biggest cost is labor... I'd say for labor you'll be look close to 3,500 - $4,000 range. Materials on average cost maybe $1,500 so be safe plan to spend around $8,000.

You are talking in the range of 9-10K materials and labour including the glass door!
