Bathtub remodel Q

I have a 20 year old bathtub and surround by a bath fitter co in an old colour. Would like to change to a white tub and surround. Is it better to have a bath fitter type product layered overtop or to rip out and install new? Cost ranges?

Yes you can have a new bathtub

You have to hire a general contractor for demolition and rebuilding a new bathtub with tiling

I think the cost is around 4000$ to 6000$

Good luck

Good day, thanks for your question.

In my opinion, it's always better to rip it out and start new, but I understand budgets can be sensitive at times. I'm not to familiar with bath fitter prices, but you can find a nice soaker tube for around $500.

I hope this helps,
