I'm putting in a bathroom in my basement and the sewer drain is about 3 feet above the floor level I would like to know what is the best way to get the waste water to the drain?
You need an upflow toilet, which pumps the waste upwards, and tie the sink and shower to it.
Good luck.
This is just my opinion but the best way i definately would recomend is just have a new line trenched in and tied to municipality. Esspecially if its clay pipe, replacing new to correct depth with new cleanout is the best way. Resale value, peace of mind, and trouble free future. The alternative is a 120 volt automatic pump that can be installed to pump raw sewage through 1 and half inch abs up to the drain...
