Building addition sideways

Hi there,
Looking to get some figures on how much it would cost to add an addition to an existing bungalow. We want to expand sideways to essentially make the front portion of the addition as an attached double garage and then section off the back to be continuous with the interior of the house as usable living space ie add new bedroom in back corner.

There are many elements that can impact the cost of constructing an addition. Typically, additions can range from $150.00 to $250.00 psf but again, much depends upon specifications, uses, etc. It would be best if you posted the project here on Hanadycanadian.com

i recommend the same, have an architect produce some drawings, then post it on the leads section of this website, you'll be proffesionally prepared to deal with other proffesional contractors
