This is a new walk-in shower still to be built. Can it be prepped for a glass shower door to be hung later but in the mean time can I use a shower curtain? The reason is that I haven't decided on the style of door and I want to get a good price when I'm ready to purchase it so cost is a great factor.
If I can also get an estimate for the door installation (small corner shower-basic door), that would be great.
Please let me know.
Regards!
Hi Anne,
Yes, a temporary shower curtain will work. Just make sure you buy a pressure rod style so that there are no screw holes in the tile. It's that easy!
Sure thing! Get one that doesn't require any drilling ( A compression fitted one with rubber suction type ends works well ) This can also be helpful if your thinking that a partial screen of tempered frameless glass would be an option as you can try the curtain at different locations to see where you may want the glass to end at. This would work only if two tiled walls are facing each other. You have said a walk in shower if two curbs at 90 degree is what you have then this will not work. As far as pricing it would be helpful to know the widths and height of your door required.
Hope this was helpful information.

Peter
Hi,
Yes you could defiantly use a temporary curtain however you have to make sure there is no water dripping to outside of the shower. The glass door is always an expensive item. We can not able to give you a right figure however you could have a rough estimate of $900.
