I have always installed under mount sinks however I do not know of any reason why you can't do a drop in sink. Oops. I did do a porcelain unit once. No problems at all. Home Depot does not always have the most knowledgeable personnel. (In my opinion).

Good luck with your install.

Hi Chris

You can but not recommended. Reason why

-it takes away the effect of the stone

-it can be done if you like

-i would not recommend it

Mike
