CFL LED bulbs

People have mentioned that there had been lawsuits made by CFL users in the USA.

Is it safer to use the traditional LED bulbs (than the CFL bulbs)?

I am more concerned on fire risk than anything else.

Do you save a sizable amount of money in your energy cost with CFL bulbs?

Thanks

You will find yourself changing LED bulbs alot less than CFL's. You will save alot that way but the energy savings will only be noticed over long periods of time. I.E $500 over 10 years is better than nothing.

Lawsuits over cfl'S? Dear God, people work in offices all day long under fluorescent lights. They do pose UV radiation risks, but so does the sun and tanning beds.

cfl's are better than incandescent lamps for saving energy, but LED's are by far the best and cheapest solution. No mercury or gases within LED. I don;t recommend cfl to anyone, unless office or industrial application.
