I need help choosing between a touchless dispenser and a classic dispenser. Which one would last longer? I saw both dispensers yesterday at Better Living. The guy at the store told me that the touchless dispenser will add more style whereas the classic one will just look like an ordinary dispenser. He said that the life of both the dispensers is almost same. Which one has more value for money? It was 15$ for the classic (single chamber) dispenser and 25$ for the touchless one.
Assuming that this is a soap dispenser, in my opinion, the touchless one does add not only more style but it is more practical and hygienic, therefore priceless.
James,
As they are both relatively inexpensive, I'd suggest the touchless one because it is unique. If it doesn't preform well the $15 unit will be available.
Hi James,
I would tend to agree with your other replies. For sanitary reasons, the touch-less dispenser is superior. However, it most likely requires batteries. But, those can be replaced. As long as the dispenser is cleaned frequently to prevent clogging of old soap deposits, for both types, they should last quite awhile. At this price point, you can't miss on the touch-less
Thanks for the question.
