I had my outside foundation wall waterproofed and had Delta-MS added as most do, However, contractor left it significantly above ground and I want to coat it with liquid rubber or something to protect it as I see it is not standing up well to elements. What can I use?

Hi Peter,

The foundation membrance should be capped with a delta termination bar just an few inches above finshed grade of the soil and then concrete paraging should meet and seal overtop of the membrane to prevent water, insect and pest intrusion behind the membrane.

Well it does have the cap trim but they went kinda high like about a foot or so up to the just below the bricks. I guess that was not standard practice. Can I paint it or tar it to protect it? I was thinking about a foundation coating but not sure it will adhere to it.
