Cost estimate for deck

I would like a 12x24 deck with 4 stairs down and a hinged gate at the top of the stairs. The bottom should be closed with lattuce and balisters 4 inches appart. Posts are to be dug and cemented. What would the cost be?

From this I take away that you will require roughly 52 Lin ft of railing including down the stairs. Depending on material base cost would be around $19/sq ft for PT, (304 sq ft (includes stairs) x $19/ sq= $5776), railing with 2x2 pt balusters @ $45/ ln ft x 52 ln ft = $2340 and stairs 4' wide @ $110/ rise =$550.

Hi Brenda it really depends on where you live but I think in Hamilton $25 to $45 a square foot labour and materials Inc, would be a good quess. That price will vary as no one job is the same.
The best advice I could give you is never choose the lowest price unless it's from a reputable contractor.
