Cost for a lane house

I have home in Mission. I would like a lane house, 8 hundred square feet. How much per square feet. And what is the first step at mission city hall?
Only looking for cost right now.

Hi Richard,
First step at city hall would be to see if you have the zoning for a lane house. They will be very helpful.
Next step is a good designer, not just the cheapest, but someone who knows the associated code requirements, etc.
As per costs, it really depends what you want to put into it. Is it for strictly income etc.
I would budget $ 160,000.
