We just bought the home and the ensuite is to cramped. There is a jacuzzi tub at the end of the room. there is a small shower on the left of the counter and the counter is small because of the shower. we would like to remove the jacuzzi tub and pot a nice glass faced shower in it's place. we would like to remove the small shower and extend the counter. The door is small because of the shower location, so we would like to install a bigger door. How much would a job like this cost and how long would it take?
Hi Max,
My name is Ryan Carwardine I'm the CEO of Clean habits.
So it would take about 4-6 days to rip everything out and then from there about another week so in total your looking at about two weeks as long as no other issues arise.
Thank you Max

You're looking at $8000-$10000 in labor 10-12 days for everything.
To remodel the bathroom as you described, I would say around $9,000 for labour and around $4,000-5,000 for building materials, tile and fixtures (using better than average materials).
If you want frameless glass wall and door, you can expect another $2,000.
Time wise , I would budget 3 weeks.
That would be in the range of $15000
Hi, this is Jim from JII FINE HOMES,
Timing you are looking about 7 working days.,
And in terms of cost you are looking $ 10,000 labour and roughly $4000 material.
All really depends on what kind of material you use and your finishes.
Thanks
Jim

Hi, it is hard to nail this down based on what you describe but I would budget between 9-$11 000 for labour and about $4000 for materials. If you want to go with a schluter - wedi membrane (recommended because this is a 2nd floor bathroom), they are expensive but guarantees you wont have leakage in the future, as long as it is installord correctly.
