Hi,
We live in a classic Montreal attached triplex. We have a perfectly rectangular home of 25'x40'. We have a large backyard of an additional 25'x35'. We would like to add another room along the center of the back (brick wall). There is already a door but we would need to add a back exit and window in the new room. We would like it to be 12'x16', basic finishings with proper heating. We would also like to pull a washer dryer connection ( the existing connection is right behind the wall).
How much will this cost? Also, if we dig down and buld an equal size room underneath, how much more would it be?
Thank you!
Cost to build a home addition vary from $200 per square foot on the cheapest end to $450 / sq. ft. or even more for custom top notch work. Accurate estimated can be provided only after analyzing architectural drawings with all technical details, calculating number of man-hours for completing the project and determining the total expenses for materials, fixtures and finishing products.
