How much would it costs approx to get a Natural Gas line installed to the back of my house (for a natural gas BBQ)? We capped an existing line that used to run to a gas dryer that we recently changed to an electric dryer that shares the same wall as the back yard so we could potential use that same line.
These are tough to quote without seeing. Without looking to see if line is good, properly done in the first place, how far the run would be, how many btu of a bbq, what is being drilled through to go outside ect. Probably easy 300 at min. You are looking at probably looking at 150 just for the quick disconnect and the bbq hose at 10 ft. Then shutoffs, gas tite how much time ect. Could be 250 to 500. Hope that helps
Of course this is based on ontario prices, not sure what pricing is out where u are
Hi
The price for a gas line is $299 for the first 10 feet and $13 per foot after that for an unfinished basement.
We are not at your area to quote you. But to give you an idea, around $350-$450, upt 20ft of 1/2 pipe. One shut off valve and one quick connector should be included with installation. Usually bbq comes with flexible hose or you can buy it separate. Making hole to wall should be included too, but ceiling/drywall cutting and repair is not included if needed. I hope it answered your question. All the best!
