Cost for hardwood floor refinishing

60~70 square feet floor, over16 years old. Needs refinishing (include change color) I want to know how much it would cost.
Only looking for cost right now.

In Toronto the going rate for this work is about $3 per sq.ft.

Hi Sherry,
The last time I cost out this type of work, the guys told me the estimate would vary depending on the the quality of the finish product. I was looking at doing a much larger area and the pricing was coming back at $3-$4 per sqft.
Your job is very small. You may find you will have to pay a minimum charge. I don't think a "per square foot" price will work for you. Expect to pay around $500 or more.
