Cost for home addition

We have a 1950s bungalow approximately 1000 ft. Would like to add a side addition that is an approximate 500 to 600 ft. (left side of image).
We are trying to determine the costs with digging a full basement or digging footings and having a crawlspace. We would prefer to have the extra living space in the basement.
The entire foundation would need to be wrapped and sealed as well.

The cost to dig a deeper foundation is minimal to a crawl space. It depend on how far you existing foundation is also out of the ground. This would be the best time to waterproof the balance of your foundation.
Depending your location, your cost will vary. A lot of contractors price by the foot, but to be accurate you should review what you as the client need. But look at a cost for 500 sq ft to be around $75 to $90K

Thanks for getting back to me. I guess we're a little nieve to what the costs associated with the job!
Can you go a little further with the scope of work performed for that price range?
