22x10 addition. How much per sq ft? Bedroom with no plumbing, just electrical. It's a raised bungalow with siding exterior.
What is a rough cost?
Thanks
Mike,
One needs to see existing condition, before can comity to any figures.
Steve
Around $30,000 with foundation fully complete to match existing home finishes.
The information you have provided would not be enough for any contractor to offer an estimate on. But in saying that, one could assume bare basics and throw a number at, but you must provide a lot more detail to existing conditions, location, style, taste and budget. For example, if you have 1 light, 3 switches, 8 receptacles, this would require a bare minimum of an ESA permit, a new circuit to the electrical panel and a few hundred worth of material or 3-4 times that quantity depending on what YOU want to see happen. This has nothing to do with any other trade though. It is like you are asking how much is a car? Well, one from a scrap yard or a new Ferrari?
Hi Mike, way more detail needed as everyone one else mentioned. Full basement?, crawl space?, slab? Interior finishes?, exterior finishes?
Rough numbers are $150 to $300 per square foot.
If you are serious about this, get some plans drawn up and put them out for quotes.
Good luck with it.
