I need to have my breaker box moved about 2 1/2 feet from the existing partition wall to an outside wall where the picture is on the left. What am I looking at as far as cost?

Hi Peter
You are probably looking at anywhere between $800-$1200 mark depending on a few things.
- If the branch circuit conductors are long enough to reach the new panel location, if not, a large junction box would need to be installed in the current panel location and new conductors from there to reach the new location.
- Same goes for the service conductors, although these would need to be re-wired from the meter base outside with new conductors and conduit. (If this is the main panel)
- A disconnect / re-connect would also need to be booked with Hydro (typically you are entitled to one free per year for maintenance) but check with your local Hydro office.
- ESA inspection fee on top of that. around the 150 mark.
If you are located join Prince Edward County, Belleville or surrounding area, I'd be happy to swing by and provide a quote.
