Hi,

I don't know of an engineer or architect that will even turn on their computer for much less than $500.00. You should check with your local permit office to see if they will accept a DIY hand drawn plan. It may be acceptable for a simple project.

Good luck with it.

Hi,

We work out of the Toronto area, so this may not be applicable, but you will need independent roof drawings , as well as all exterior elevations showing the new roof line to grade. Structural drawings may be required showing any new point loads, etc. You should be looking at $1500-$2500 , not including permit costs.

Nicholas
