Cost for walls and stairs

How much would it roughly be to take off 16 stairs that are old and narrow and rebuild them in width of tread, approx?
I am getting a credit for 1275 from the contractor but I do not believe that this is all it would take to rebuild those stairs.

Hi Tina, seems pretty simple to me, just give him the contract to do it for 1275. He came up with the price after all.

Stairs can get very expensive and there isnt enough information here to tell you exactly how much you'd be spending, but $1275 wouldn't even cover materials.
You're likely over $10k depending on finish, whether their open or boxed stairs, railing needed etc.
