Hi,

I would like to collect some honest opinions on how much would it cost to renovate a small 25 square foot bathroom - standing shower, toilet and sink. I have good knowledge of building materials. I would also like to know how long it would take to complete the project.

Sincere thanks,

G

That's a great name you have there!

Sounds like a complete redo so your back to the studs.

I personally haven't done a bath reno for under 20k in a while. With a bit of luck and some smart purchases you may get there but I think for anything decent it's a starting point.

Time depends on how complicated it is. Simple baths can be done in a couple of weeks. Others take twice as long or more depending on what's going on in there.

Hope this helps.

Hi Giuliana

Small 3 piece bathrooms roughly range from $3500 to $5000

It will all depend on how much work and design you decide on. This usually includes New plumbing basic electrical, remove and install tilling.

Prepping and painting. All plumbing fixtures have to be supplied by owner unless contractor instructed to buy.

If you have any more questions please do contact.

Hi Giuliana

Can you remeasure the bathroom, I am trying to fit your shower toilet and sink and want to know where you want to put everything in relation to the door. Secondly, are you supplying materials I.E plumbing and electrical fixtures as well as maybe a shower stall or do you want it built in tile or stone?

Thank you

Tony

There are a lot of potential factors involved in a bathroom reno. Significantly changing plumbing or electrical could double the cost of the project. Materials like the shower, tile, vanity, lighting etc have huge ranges in pricing. It could range from $3k with cheap materials and no surprises to $15k with top of the line materials and moving walls, electrical and plumbing.

Time lines can range from 3-4 days if there is no major construction work to 2-3 weeks if several different trades need to be in there.

Hi Giuliana,

In our area the cost would be somewhere between $10,000 & $12,000, all in, with reasonable product selection. It would be approximately 2 weeks.

To give you a firm price one of the guys would visit to see it and then we would provide you with a written cost detailing everything to be done and showing allowances for tile, vanity etc. to be included. We deliver everything, all you need to do is make your choices.

Thanks to everyone who took their time to read my research. Each corner has a unit: shower, toilet sink, door. It is a cute and cozy place.

I am not planning to spend a fortune on it though. It is a reno not a new build.
