Looking for a ballpark cost of building a bar counter (with plumbing and electric connections). It's a small location (less than 1000sqf) that was previously a retail store (so not a lot of construction already in the area requiring removal). What is the price dependent on?

I do plan on doing multiple direct consults; this overview question is to get an understanding before entering the lease negotiations about the renovation allowance from the landlord.

When you say bar counter do you mean an open underneath high counter or an actual "Bar" bar. An actual Bar could cost anywhere from 20-50k as they are usually a heavy top with an epoxy finish and more expensive materials. If its just a raised counter to stand at under 7k depending on materials would be reasonable. I have no idea how long or if there is turns so these prices are complete ballparks.
