I have a 1000sqf commercial space that needs flooring and I'm trying to decide to go with either carpet tiles or VCT. The area is square, and floor is smooth concrete. I'm considering going with either carpet tile or VCT.

What is the price per square foot to install 20"x 20" carpet tiles. The tiles will be provided.

What is the price per square foot to install 12"x12" VCT tiles. The tiles will be provided.

Please provide cost of any additional work that might be required.

Answers are greatly appreciated.

I recommend you call trusted Pro flooring contractor in your local area to get a firm quote. I'm assuming you're going to need new baseboards installed normally vinyl rubber baseboards for commercial is recommended as well as floor leveler in areas that are necessary. If the existing floors are perfect and ready for installation price would be approximately $2,500-$3,000
