Cost to build 30x30 garage to lock up

Hi,

I would say $25k - $30k do it yourself with 1 person help. to get a hard quote someone should be there on site to see the terrain so that they could see all the possible challenges.

Your probably looking at between 25 and 30K based on 2 x 6 framing and plain gable roof. One man door and about 3 windows. Add another 10 to 15K for more windows, doors, wiring, insulation & drywall.

You have two rough estimates that provide a "ball park" figure. Keep in mind that a 30 x 30 may also require extras such as an engineers report, pilings, better foundation than just a pad, and more. Check with a local building inspector (usually free) to understand what may be required.
