Thanks! There is apparently an added challenge.....the hot water heater flue/chimney Is blocking what would be the new doorway... It would have to be moved about two feet to the left. How expensive is that?

Wondering if you need an additional electrical recepticles on the other side ?

Where you anticipate the new doorway to be located, is there anything in the way like a light switch ?

Not sure where the hot water exhaust is currently located, you might want to explore having the exhaust be directed through the wall, this will give you additional room to work.
