Hi There,

The average cost to install 300 Sq. Ft. Of hardwood is $1.60 per foot labor only and it goes from there. If you also require sub floor repairs and additional floor screws, then the cost is a bit more.

Thanks a lot.

To install hardwood the cost is $ 1.75 you may need to install a new sub floor which would be a additional cost three hundred to four hundred dollars. Any leveling or shimming of the present floor would also be charged extra.

Charlane,

As with the other folks, you are looking at about $350 average. It also depends on the condition of the subfloor and assuming the subfloor is bare. Removal of any existing coverring is extra as well as prep work (checking for squeaks, loose sub-floor, raised nail or screw heads, etc.. Baseboards should be off and area clear of any obstacles or there often is an small additional charge.

Enjoy your new floor.
