Cost to insulate and re side whole house

Hi. Depends on the type of house whether it's a new or older home. Does material have to be removed. 1 or 2 storey does windows have to be built out and capped. Whether it has dormer's, gables and how much repair would be required before putting new materials on to your home. 3150sq ft is approximately 11 1/2 squares of siding material. Not sure if this includes soffit material. There's a lot more that goes into the estimate. If you could post photos and as much info as possible I would love to help you out. Thanks. Norm. Typically install siding starts at $10-15/sqft. all inclusive for vinyl, Hardie etc. Demolition & strapping and styro insulation will add a few dollars more, Things like capping or casing around doors and windows are extra, usually another thousand or 2, for a entire house, same with new soffits and fascia etc. of alumn. With the economy a wreck, prices are all over the board but you will get what you pay for, so don't look for cheap, look for experience and references.
