Hi Ron & Jennifer,

Rates vary from province to province but I'd say bank on approximately $18-$23 per sf including tile cost & standard prep work.

Hi Jennifer,

Every job, every contractor is different. Prices vary, don't pick the lowest bid.

But I understand a need to budget prior to a project, and a very rough Estimate would be:

$2 a sqft for demo,

$6 a sqft for Tile install.

additionals would include the tile, the edges, the underlay, heating, etc.
