Hi,
I'm looking at doing a renovation (addition, new kitchen) on my East York semi. We've spoken to a couple of all-in-one desginer/builders, but we're interested in the difference in quotes if we were to have the drawings done separately, and THEN have builders quote on the finished drawing.
We can't find average costs for having drawings done - anybody else go this route? Advantages and disadvantages?
Thanks,
Rob
Most designers charge about $100/hour, at least ones I've called recently. Some have in-house draftmen or utilize the same one often to compliment their services. A custom print could cost you a few $100 but becareful bcause the term "you get what you pay for" rings true in this industry moreso than most others.
Robert give us a call we can help you out
Regards
Ken
